Our Heritage
The journey began with two founders who chose different paths. Premnath Kapoor was forced out of Lahore during partition, Vivek Mehra moved with the family to Bengaluru in 1975. Their paths crossed in 1988 when Vivek married Renu (Premnath's daughter). In 2021 Premnath passed away leaving a heritage bungalow and the lingering memories of his love for a crisp Dosa.
In 2026 Vivek and his family transformed the heritage bungalow into a cafe and true to Bengaluru's famous suburb, The Malleswaram Cafe was born.
We bring authentic flavours to life in a city that has a passion for food.
